Installing and Getting Around

  1. Install ZSS Login chrome extension.
  2. Click the Earth icon on the upper right corner of your chrome browser.
  3. A new tab will be opened showing planet Earth divided into rectangular shaped geographical areas.
  4. Each rectangle represent a geographical password. You can select the rectangle by clicking it, it will be shaded when selected. You can choose more than one location to form your geographical password.
  5. When you select a rectangle the geographical coordinates of the lower left and the upper right corners will be extracted to form your geographical password.
  6. The geographical password will appear at the black box at the bottom of ZSS Login Panel. Hovering the mouse over the box will show your geographical password.
  7. When you zoom in or out, the area covered by the rectangle will change. So each rectangle is unique at each zoom level.
  8. To get your geographical password you have to click the same rectangle at the same zoom level.

Using ZSS Login to Log into Accounts

  1. Add your website's login page (Twitter for example) to ZSS Login by clicking on [Add Website] link on ZSS Login panel.
  2. A new tab will be opened, navigate to Twitter's login page.
  3. Click on the user and password fields. They should turn into red color.
  4. Click the "Sign in" button. The tab will close indicating Twitter has been added to ZSS Login.
  5. Hover over "Login" link at ZSS Login panel, you should see a Twitter link.
  6. To change your current password at Twitter to your new geographical password. Open a new tab and log into your Twitter account, as usual.
  7. When you log into Twitter go to the section responsible of changing the password.
  8. Type your current password.
  9. Open ZSS Login to get your new geographical password.
  10. Go to your favorite place on planet Earth and click on it.
  11. Copy the geographical password.
  12. Paste the geographical password at Twitter's "new password" field.
  13. Complete the password change process and click save. You have now changed Twitter's password into a very strong geographical password.
  14. To log into Twitter from ZSS Login, select your geographical spot again and enter your user id at the black box in the upper left corner.
  15. Hover over "Login" then click Twitter, ZSS Login will open a new tab, request Twitter's login page, paste your credentials and click submit.
  16. Everything happens at the client's side.
  17. The same procedure should apply for any other account.

Using ZSS Login on Smartphones

To be able to generate the same geographical passwords on your smartphone or portable device, you need to use the same personal key. These steps help you in tranferring your ZSS Login settings to portsable devices.
  1. On ZSS Login Panel click "ZSS Login Settings"
  2. At the "Import and Export ZSS Login Settings" click on export "ZSS Login Personal key and Settings" button.
  3. A link to an HTML file holding your ZSS Login settings will appear.
  4. Right click and select Save Link As and choose a name to the file (e.g. zssLoginHome.html).
  5. Transfer this file to your smartphone. Follow your smartphone instructions on how to transfer files from PC to a portable device.
  6. If using iPhone, iPad, or iPod, you can download ZSS Login File app and follow the steps at http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4094 to transfer the HTML file to ZSS Login File app.
  7. Open the browser on your smartphone (or ZSS Login File app if using IOS devices), then navigate to the locally stored ZSS Login settings HTML file.
  8. ZSS Login Mobile Panel will appear, where you can select geographical locations by performing a double tap on rectangles.
  9. Geographical password will appear in the black box at the bottom of the panel. Slightly touching the geographical password box will open a dialog box showing the geographical password, where the user can copy.

  11. Open your Twitter app and paste your geographical password there to perform a login.

Transfer ZSS Login Settings to another workstation or account

To be able to generate the same geographical passwords on a new workstation or account, you need to use the same personal key. These steps help you in tranferring your ZSS Login settings to another workstation or account (from home to work for example).
  1. On ZSS Login Panel click "ZSS Login Settings"
  2. At the "Import and Export ZSS Login Settings" click on export "ZSS Login Personal key and Settings" button.
  3. A link to an HTML file holding your ZSS Login settings will appear.
  4. Right click and select Save Link As and choose a name to the file (e.g. zssLoginWork.html).
  5. Transfer this file to your new workstation or account.
  6. Run chrome and install ZSS Login extension on your new workstation or account.
  7. On ZSS Login Panel click "ZSS Login Settings"
  8. At the "Import and Export ZSS Login Settings" click "Choose File" and import ZSS Login Settings File.
  9. Click "Import ZSS Login Personal Key and Settings" button.
  10. Click OK then start a new instant of ZSS Login by clicking Earth's icon.
  11. Now you can generate the same geographical passwords as the original device.
